Coronavirus | Panel to evaluation conduct of NEET, JEE: HRD Minister


Dad and mom and college students have raised issues about conducting the exams in July.

Union HRD Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’ stated on Thursday {that a} panel will evaluation the state of affairs for conducting medical and engineering entrance exams NEET and JEE amid issues over spike in COVID-19 circumstances.

Dad and mom and college students have raised issues about conducting the exams in July.

“Trying on the prevailing circumstances and requests obtained from college students & dad and mom showing for JEE and NEEET examinations, a committee consisting of officers from the Nationwide Testing Company (NTA) and different specialists has been suggested to evaluation the state of affairs and submit its suggestions newest by tomorrow,” Mr. Nishank stated.

Whereas medical entrance examination NEET is scheduled on July 26, engineering entrance examination JEE is scheduled to be held from July 18-23.

The Central Board of Secondary Training (CBSE) had final week cancelled pending board exams scheduled from July 1 to 15.
